How does the task tracker save my data?

The ColorTask tracker uses your browser’s localStorage to save all your tasks, custom lists, and activity history. This means your data is stored locally on your device and will persist even if you close the browser or refresh the page. However, if you clear your browser data, the tasks will be removed.

Yes! ColorTask allows you to filter tasks by status (To Do, In Progress, Done), category (Work, Personal, Shopping, etc.), and priority (Low, Medium, High) simultaneously. You can combine multiple filters to narrow down your tasks. For example, you can view only “High Priority” “Work” tasks that are “In Progress”.

You can drag and drop tasks between columns (To Do, In Progress, Done) or use the action buttons on each task. Click the arrow icon to move a task forward (e.g., from To Do to In Progress) or backward. The edit button allows you to modify task details, and the delete button removes the task entirely.

Absolutely! ColorTask is fully responsive and works seamlessly on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. The layout adjusts automatically to fit your screen size, ensuring a great user experience across all devices.

To clear all filters and return to viewing all tasks, simply click the “Clear All Filters” button in the filter information section. This will reset status, category, and priority filters to “All”.
